In this episode, Dean Newlund and Patrick Parker discuss:Allowing your people to fail Being clear and being accountableHow to be consumer-centric Building a personal brand Key Takeaways:Encourage people to fail. Give people the opportunity to experiment and try new things. Give them room to fail because through that failure they'll be able to create fresh ideas and learn new things. Communicate the company’s values clearly and hold yourself to those standards and values. Then, hold your staff accountable to those values as well. Be clear and be the example. For a business to be successful, you have to have a clearly-defined customer profile. You have to go deep on the pain points they’re having. If you want to build a personal brand, the key is in your visibility and consistency. You have to put yourself out there, make yourself discoverable, find out how people find you, and invest in that. You also have to cut out content consistently. "Without accountability, everything falls apart. Without visibility and without clearly communicating and articulating what those values are, might as well not have them." — Patrick Parker See Dean’s TedTalk “Why Business Needs Intuition” here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEq9IYvgV7I Connect with Patrick Parker: Website: https://saaspartners.io/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/patrickbparker/ Connect with Dean:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgqRK8GC8jBIFYPmECUCMkwWebsite: https://www.mfileadership.com/The Mission Statement E-Newsletter: https://www.mfileadership.com/blog/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/deannewlund/Twitter: https://twitter.com/deannewlundFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MissionFacilitators/Email: [email protected]: 1-800-926-7370Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
