Her distinguishing attributes include transformational leadership and consistent execution. She is passionate about affecting meaningful change at the intersection of healthcare equity, technology/innovation, and values-driven leadership.Tarul was selected as a fellow in the first cohort of the Harvard Medical School Executive Global Health Care Leaders Program, graduating in June 2022. She completed VC University through Berkeley Law/NVCA/Venture Forward in June 2024. She graduated with her Doctorate in Pharmacy Cum Laude through an accelerated program from the University of the Pacific in 2002. She is currently Founding Principal at Ellipsis Healthcare Leadership, in addition to Board member at knowRX, member at Chief, Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation (WBL), Wonder Women, and Clinicians Who VC. Additionally, she serves as Mentor at Techstars, Advisor at Bream, BigRio AI, Redesign Health, Mariana AI, AMCP Heath Disparities Committee, and various equity focused community organizations.
