Today we learned something that was amazing, that we have everything that we need in Christ. An equally interesting revelation is that right alongside that, we have other things in our lives that we do not need. Pastor Matthew and Elder Eric, encourage us in this sermon entitled “Siting Sets The Table” by revealing that the sifting process is drawing out what God wants to change, and it is how we set the table. The reason our good Father does this, is so that as we are being transformed, we can turn and strengthen our brothers. We all can relate to a man like Peter, needing to be rebuked and corrected more times than most and yet this message showed us how necessary it was for Peter’s mistakes to be made public. And because his mistakes were made public, his life is even more encouraging and that is what our Father is calling us into during this time of ministering in our homes and building up the body. Let this message stir you to press into the sifting for your brother’s sake.
