This morning we were blessed with a word from heaven by Pastor Matthew and Pastor Payton entitled “Olympiad”. With some historical and cultural background, we gain further insight into Paul’s writings and encouragement to his brothers in Corinth. Every athlete goes into strict training to obtain a crown that will not last while we are called to engage in the strict training that will result in a crown that will last forever! We are not going to waste anytime shadow boxing because we are being led in a triumphal procession that causes us to run straight for the finish line!
