Driving Under the Influence (DUI) & Accelerated Rehabilitated Disposition (ARD) ARD is diversion program for DUI’s after the preliminary hearing. If you are facing a first-time DUI charge in Pennsylvania, you may be eligible for a program called Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition or ARD. It will allow you to resolve your PA driving under the influence case without a criminal record.The District Attorney of each County determines who is allowed into ARD programs.  Most non-violent offenses are allowed into the ARD program.
