Listen "Nursing Busy Babies "
Episode Synopsis
In today’s episode I’m talking about busy babies. Nursing the 7-11 month olds who are starting to get mobile and might be nursing less often or for shorter periods of time. I'm also sharing a real life example from nursing my 8 1/2 month old (at the time of recording) and sharing with you how I managed a time when he was so fussy he didn't want to nurse.

Did you know while over 80% of new moms initiate breastfeeding in North America, less than 30% are still exclusively breastfeeding by 6 months? Moms want to breastfeed but run into challenges they feel they cannot overcome. Breastfeeding isn't the problem. Breastfeeding problems are the problem. We live in a society that doesn't set us up for success. Early returns to work, lack of support in the home, lack of access to childcare; it all leads to breastfeeding relationships being negatively impacted. If you're a breastfeeding mom and things are feeling hard right now, or you feel like you don't have anyone to answer your questions with the level of detail you need or if you feel like something is wrong but your doctor is dismissing your concerns and not sending you to an IBCLC, I have curated a community to support you.
