Kyle Derek Ervin, a husband and father of four, studied English and creative writing at San Diego State University and earned his degree from California State University, Hayward. A former reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps, he now teaches English at Buena Park High School in Fullerton, California. Raised in San Jose, this is his debut book.
