Oregon, Washington, and California. The Pacific Coast States are often in alliance, and right now they're teaming up on dozens of lawsuits. One case in particular made headlines.  

Ever since President Trump issued his executive order trying to nullify birthright citizenship, he said he was looking forward to the issue making it through the courts.

At a US Appeals Court in Washington state, a three judge panel considered the constitutionality of President Trump's executive order to curtail automatic birthright citizenship, for the first time. Matt Adamsville is with the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project based in Washington, which has families directly involved in the case.
