Send us a textMy grand plan with this interview was to learn about the challenges students face when commuting to Kapi‘olani Community College.  It is no secret that the traffic on Oʻahu is TERRIBLE, therefore I wanted to gain insight around their mindset as they make their way to campus.  I was fortunate to schedule two students, Chanel and Zane, for this interview who have been at Kapi‘olani Community College for some time now.  Again, I was all ready to hear about their commuting challenges but the interview took a very surprising turn I did not anticipate.  Rather than talking about their challenges around traveling, they talked about their interpersonal journey - a very different look at "commuting".  They shared their deeper connection with Kapi‘olani Community College that canceled out any issues around "traffic".  Their unscripted insights were very much appreciated.  Please enjoy listening to Chanel and Zane.  Thanks!
