KK015: Moebius - Memento

Established in August 2020, KRUNK KULTURE is a record label from the future by KRUNK. Memento by Moebius is our next EP on Krunk Kulture.

Moebius brings you his debut LP and with it, a slice of nostalgia, rife with melodies evocative of dunes, nature, constellations, and beachy sunsets. Let the wind race past you as you stand atop a lush hill peering into the valley below. Close your eyes and playback your fondest memories as you let this record wash over you.

Written through the course of the lockdown, this LP was not designed with the club in mind, but still has a groove that lures your body to move to its rhythm. His friends Yuhina, Hedrun, and Indus have also made meaningful contributions to this album. A pensive yet mellow refrain, "memento" is driven primarily by emotion.

Moebius has been producing and releasing singles for the last 5 years that have often been featured and mentioned in India's leading music publications. He is associated with the producer collective "Jwala" and has also contributed to a few of their VA compilations.

When not making music, Moebius is an animator, illustrator, and a VJ running his own practice by the name of 'Studio Moebius'. He has worked with some of India's leading music festivals, high-profile international media agencies, and clients, and has also animated on music videos for the likes of 'The Weeknd' and 'Iron Maiden', amongst others.
