Krishak Bandhu is a scheme launched by the government of West Bengal to provide financial aid to farmers and social security to their families. The payment will be transferred through online mode DBT (Direct Bank Transfer) depending on the land that the farmer has, i.e., If the farmer has more than 1 Acre of cultivable land, the amount will be 10,000, which will be given in two installments, and if the farmer has less than 1 Acre the amount will be 4000 per year. This Scheme can be availed by registering on KrishakBandu.net.The government of West Bengal has come up with many welfare schemes for its citizens, whether scholarships for students or schemes like Krishak Bandhu 2023. It is one of the various schemes the WB Government runs to facilitate Farmers and their families through financial aid.It was launched by the Department of Agriculture in 2019, and since then, more than 39 lakh farmers have registered for this scheme. The benefit under this scheme is 10,000 and 4000 per annum, which will be transferred in two installments during the season of Kharif and Rabi.
