Listen "25 - Prompting"
Episode Synopsis
Kirk Reflections 22nd May 2022.
Rev. Erick du Toit brings our weekly reflections from Kirkliston Parish Church, Scotland.
Making decisions can be difficult. Especially if you have multiple options.
How are you supposed to know what direction to follow?
Have you ever taken a path, totally convinced it’s within God’s will, and it backfired miserably?
God’s Spirit works in mysterious ways. He is our guide and counsellor and leads us to unexpected places. I’m sure you can testify to that!
In Acts 16 Paul is yet again led on a path he never expected because he was open to the Spirit’s prompting… are you willing to change your direction when things don’t work out as planned? Are you willing to trust that Jesus has something even better in store?
