Due to unforeseen circumstances, we did not have access to our usual equipment this week. We apologize for the audio quality in this week's episode! ------------------ What comes to mind when you hear the term Lent? Many of us either don't know much about Lent, or misunderstand it, seeing it as mere tradition or legalism. But what if it's an invitation to deeper transformation? In this episode, we explore how fasting, giving, and prayer can align our hearts with Jesus, prepare us for the joy of Easter, and invite God into the impossible. Join us as we rediscover the true purpose of Lent and how it shapes us as followers of Christ. ------------------ Matthew 6:16-18 Fasting 16 "And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
