Listen "Jesus Our Center"
Episode Synopsis
The Gospel of Luke is unique in that it is a meticulous history—an “orderly account” ( Luke 1:3) consistent with Luke’s medical mind—often giving details the other accounts omit. Throughout the book of Luke, Jesus, The Great Physician is constantly reaching out to people pushed aside by the society of that time: women, lepers, the demon-possessed, gentiles, fishermen, and “sinners”—they’re all here, they’re all seen, they are all loved and they are all saved. In other words, The Gospel of Luke can be summed up in one phrase: It’s all about Jesus, and Jesus is for everyone. We pray that as we look to Jesus afresh, we will respond to His call to follow Him and carry out His mission to share His good news (gospel) of the kingdom with everyone.
