Episode Synopsis
Josiah Fehlauer has been interpreting professionally since 2006. Though now retired, he began teaching college students in 2007 as an adjunct ASL instructor at the University of Tulsa. This was a turning point for him as he realized that he truly loved to teach and train. Realizing his love for teaching, he pursued a master’s degree in ASL/English Interpreting: Pedagogy from the University of North Florida and now teaches interpreting courses for both the University of North Florida and his local interpreting training program at Tulsa Community College.
