She first joined Harvard-Westlake in 2012 as a parent and later became part of the Admission Office in 2015. In 2017, she was appointed as the school’s inaugural Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), a role she held until transitioning to her current position in the 2023-2024 academic year.Before her tenure at Harvard-Westlake, Jones practiced law at several prominent firms, specializing in labor law and human resources. She also served as a senior advisor to former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and taught law courses at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and Capital University Law School.Jones holds a Bachelor of Arts in French from Spelman College and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law.
