Jone Larrañaga aka Jara, electronic music DJ, was born in 1993 in País Vasco and now is settled in Madrid.
At the age of 8 she began her musical studies with piano lessons while listening music bands such as Depeche Mode, U2, Moby, Underworld… He fell in love with their melodies, vocals and enveloping sound. That is when she discovered her passion for electronic music.
When she moved to Madrid, she started attending her first electronic music events and getting to know new genres, such as progressive house, deep house, melodic techno. Hernan Cattaneo, unknown for her until that time, became her favorite artist inside music industry. She travelled around Europe to see him play.
When she turned 25, she received a controller as a gift setting a start point for his passion for sharing music. During the pandemic she opened her Soundcloud account and created “Confidence” where she mixes melancholic melodies with grooves that keep you on your feet. Since the beginning “Confidence” has received a lot of support and listeners from around the glove.
Jara has played in local parties and is very enthusiastic for what future holds for her ✨
