MIRA GANDY is a visual artist working with themes related to female identity, beauty, race and their intersection in media and culture. Her current installation in conjunction with Flex Art, Up, Up, Up You Mighty Race is inspired by Harlem’s 125th street landscape and the Afrocentric beauty found in Harlem. She takes some time after putting on the final touches to her masterpiece, to chat with Keith Price about her life, her art, and her inspirations.
