The profession of OT has been somewhat conflicted in regards to what the entry-level degree should be to enter the profession as an OT or OTA. Disclaimer:  There was a mandate that all OT (OTR) programs move to an entry-level doctorate by 2027, but in 2019 that mandate was retracted.  There is still much confusion regarding this topic among the public, prospective students, students, stakeholders, and higher education institutions. In this episode, students share their perspectives and opinions on this topic and how regardless of what degree level OTs enter the profession with, they need to STAY FOCUSED ON OCCUPATION!
