I had this idea to do a deep dive into the New Testament.  
I felt like a nudge I needed to take.
I started, then stopped, and started to resist.
I started to question.
I started to doubt.
Then I had a conversation with someone who was raised in a Catholic School.
I have never been to a religious school but I assumed they learned from the Bible.
I thought the source of information for the school would be the Word, the Bible.
Not at this school, they used a religious book.
When I quoted what our purpose as humans was he stopped me and said, "I'm glad you gleaned that from the Bible but it doesn't say that anywhere."
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patients, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things.
Him stating that no such thing was in the Bible made me step back and think.
Our conversation furthered and he referred to Jesus as God's big toe and I knew that was my sign.
If this is what the interpretation of the Bible is I need to get more first hand knowledge.
I can not let people who have never read the Bible teach me what the book says.
This is a journey I have to take.
This is an adventure I look forward to embarking!
