Send us a textI believe the more familiar with the Scriptures we become, the closer we can draw to Jesus and learning the stories about those "heros of the faith" can encourage us and also teach us a lot of lessons about what they did right and what they did wrong.  In David's life there are a lot of great examples of what he did right and a few examples of where he really went sideways and the aftermath that resulted was devastating.  David's life is story of triumph, crash and burning, patience, faith, pride, humility etc.
