Listen "More Delightful Job Search, Part 4"
Episode Synopsis
Today is the final episode in our short series about making job searches more delightful.
And it’s about the final mindset shift that can aid your enjoyment of your job search: I hope they like me.
This particular thought has deep socialization roots. Particularly for women, who — in dating and job searching and everywhere else — are taught that other people's opinions are more important than their own.
Today we’re evening the scales. I’m sharing how to keep your brain focused on the truth: that you’re a gem. And, that in any job search, assessment is bi-directional — I’ll tell you how to keep your brain focused as much on what you’re assessing in a potential future employer as you are on what that employer thinks of you.
Thanks for listening.
