Dr. Elana Dumont trained to work with young children though adulthood treating issues such as anxiety and depression. In addition she provides parent coaching to support parents in their developing strong relationships with their children. She is also trained to treat women struggling with pre and post natal challenges.She utilizes an integrated approach using evidence based treatments that include CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), mindfulness, exposure treatment, and parent management training. She also believes in the validity of psychodynamic therapy and building a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients.

Dr. Dumont works as a school psychologist at a private school in NYC. She understands the inner workings of school-related stress and can be particularly helpful in parenting strategies and developing coping skills for managing school-related anxiety and social dynamics.

​In addition to her clinical work, she serves on the Medical Advisory Board at Lauren Bongiorno's Health Coaching for People with Diabetes. As a type 1 diabetic her, she understands the unique challenges of living with chronic illness and values the commitment she has made in supporting those struggling with their mental health.
