There is no easy solution to the fact that as sure as we are born into this world, we will depart. The date of our birth is something our loved ones prepare for with great anticipation and excitement. However, the date of our departure, separation from loved ones is far from the excitement and anticipation of our birth, at least in our culture. Death, we don't talk about it..... it's sad, it leaves a huge void, and it's not as easy to adapt to as bringing another in to share our lives with.
In this interview with Stephanie we discuss some of the challenges to grief and the necessary process of continuing on in life without our loved ones by our side.
Stephanie is a counselor working with people to support this process of finding peace within ourselves and the strength to live life with purpose again.
