Listen "Special Bonus: The Legacy"
Episode Synopsis
Thirty years ago, William and Ebralie Mwizerwa escaped the Rwanda genocide. After years in refugee camps, William--and eventually the whole family--made it to America as protected refugees. Today, their Legacy Mission Village faith-based organization helps other refugees and immigrants transition to U.S. life, with tutoring for kids, citizenship and English classes and other vital services. On this special bonus episode of NOW, William and Ebralie share their story with Suzie Lind and Grant Opperman and describe how the Journey community can volunteer to come alongside this vulnerable group of people. We're proud to partner with Legacy as our newest Serve partner organization. - - - - -To learn more or to volunteer ask the Journey team or visit the Legacy website: https://www.legacymissionvillage.org/ - - - - -Have a question or comment for the NOW team?
