When you drink the blood, you're symbolizing Christ's cleansing power over your sins and along with it, the laws of sin and death, which by extension are what lead to sickness in the first place. It's the cleansing blood of Christ that your using to cleanse out really your body and your spirit. The breaking of the bread, on the other hand symbolizes Jesus's broken body and it evokes actually an old Testament verse Isaiah 53 where Isaiah says of Jesus, “surely he bore our sicknesses and carried our pains, literally our infirmities. Yet we are. He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our sins. And by his stripes, we are healed.” Support the show
