A Catholic candidate for the President of the US led many to believe the Pope would take over our country. Over 500 members of the KKK paraded through downtown Sioux Falls and up to the steps of the Sioux Falls Cathedral. They pounded on the front door and demanded to search the whole church for any arms that they thought were being hidden and stockpiled there. The KKK also murdered a Catholic Priest in Lead SD.
