Listen "I can't stop singing"
Episode Synopsis
The first use of the new Suno v4. Excited to try this as sound quality is claimed to be better. Difficult to tell on this track, although I prompted for the backing to be minimalistic. It starts off very good but depending on your sound system you may think differently. The AI has chosen to include clapping rather than bass or drums, etc. This can be heard clearly by using headphones or external speaker (I assume) but with an internal speaker is not so easy to tell. The clapping morphs into applause as the track ends. I have edited the track to close ther track at what I thought was an appropriate place.
The song, with a very simple lyric (see below) was written a couple of years ago after I had started writing again after a very dry period, which I put down to a particular song I had heard and covered - just me and my uke - and recorded.
I prompted the AI with a clip of myself singing the song, and the melody has been captured almost perfectly by the AI.
Lyric - written by John Dyhouse
[verse1]
I heard a song, a magical song.
I heard a song that set my heart free.
And since I heard that song.
I cant stop singing...
[verse2]
I heard a sound, reached out to my soul.
It whispered such words that I lost control.
That sound bought me joy
I just can't stop singing...
[verse3]
I heard a voice excited me so
Filled me with awe and left my eyes aglow
That voice, that sound, that song transformed my life,
I just can't stop singing.
[bridge, instrumental solo]
[verse3]
I heard a voice excited me so
Filled me with awe and left my eyes aglow
That voice, that sound, that song transformed my life,
I just can't stop singing.
[verse3]
I heard a voice excited me so
Filled me with awe and left my eyes aglow
That voice, that sound, that song transformed my life,
I just can't stop singing.
