Hello friends of Hive Open Mic! I'm happy to greet you again and participate in week 293, whose theme is "Opening Seas." For this reason, I want to share a song titled "Tu Foto Es Una Reliquia" (Your Photo Is a Relic). Although it might seem unrelated to the theme, I wanted to emphasize the power of faith and love, since a photograph can truly become a treasure, and our personal treasures have a power as intense as faith itself, because everything stems from love.
This piece of Venezuelan folklore was recorded and popularized by the great Cristian Castillo, the Sentinel of Venezuela, a singer from Santa María de Ipire, Guárico State. In fact, you can hear it on his 2023 album, "Amor Perfecto" (Perfect Love). However, the song's true composer is my admired Rafael Antonio Núñez, also from Guárico State, but from Zaraza.
I love this song. These kinds of love stories that transcend boundaries move and inspire me, whether it's romantic love or other kinds of love, like friendship or even family. Feliz de saludarles nuevamente con la intención de participar en la semana 293 que lleva como tema Abriendo Mares, motivo por el cual quiero compartirles una canción titulada "Tu Foto Es Una Reliquia", que aunque pareciera no tener similitud con el tema a tratar, quería hacer énfasis en la fuerza de la fe y el amor, ya que una fotografía realmente puede convertirse en un tesoro y nuestros tesoros personales tienen un poder tan intenso como la misma fe, porque todo parte del amor.
Esta obra del folclore venezolano fue grabada y popularizada por el gran Cristian Castillo, el Centinela de Venezuela, un intérprete de Santa María de Ipire, Estado Guárico, de hecho la pueden oír en su álbum de 2023, titulado Amor Perfecto, aunque el verdadero compositor de la canción es mi admirado Rafael Antonio Núñez, también del Estado Guárico, pero de Zaraza.
