"Witch Hazel" ROCKS!!! This is a guitar hook based hard rock instrumental that I produced for film and television licensing. It's built on a solid groove guitar hook, where the guitar is doing a sideways groove, but the drums are keeping a down-beat. The song's bridge transitions into an almost Vai'esque section that incorporates some diminished intervals for added melody. The song is cut down the middle with a rippin' guitar solo that has elements of shred and melodic playing as the rhythm chord changes alter in its second half.
