When we keep our eyes on Christ, we remain upright in our walk with the guidance of The Holy Spirit. When we take our eyes off Christ and focus on our worldly fears and temptations, we sink.  This is when we
begin to conform to the world’s patterns. But, take heart, Jesus upholds us when we sink, and once we are His, nobody can snatch us out of God’s hand.  Christ frees us.  He is our freedom.  Freedom from sin, guilt, condemnation, judgement, self loathing, religious legalism, prejudice, sexism, shame, anxiety.  The world will still throw this at you, but you will be fortified from it. We are no longer enslaved to it. Christ, frees us, guides us, and upholds us.
