Every year around the end of June -- when the State gives approval for the notices to be sent, the Board of Equalization sends out its annual property valuations. Once a property owner receives that notice, they have 30 days to file a protest. Maria Knight, Chairman of the BOE, joins us along with members of her team, David Ogden, Property Appraiser Manager, and Mason Smith, Senior Appraiser.
