Prototype Recordings warmly welcomes drum and bass DJ/producer, Alex SLK all the way from Riga, Latvia.
Broken beats took over his musical tastes in the mid 00’s, when he first heard his early influences such as Ed Rush & Optical, Skynet, Aphrodite, Calyx and Technical Itch.
Pushing his dark & heavy signature sound, Alex has previously released on labels such as Grid Recordings, Liondub, Sub-liminal, Ransaked and more.
For the A side we have ‘Grand Finale’ which was weirdly inspired by a visit to a massive grand cathedral in Moscow and early Netsky music. Alex then added his own signature ‘rusty’ twist to achieve a massive epic vibe, tailored specifically for club soundsystems.
