Start off by listening to the TED Talk by Julia Dhar: How to Disagree Productively and Find Common Ground: https://www.ted.com/talks/julia_dhar_how_to_disagree_productively_and_find_common_ground?language=en#t-203891 Next look at the issues listed at Politico and add any to your list of topics you are interested in: https://www.politico.com/2020-election/candidates-views-on-the-issues/ Take a look at your notes from last time about what you are interested in, your big question, local and online experts or resources, community questions and expert questions. Add anything else you are thinking about What are different perspectives people might have on this issue or topic? What are things (almost) everyone can probably agree on about this topic? What background information, assumptions, and biases do you currently have on this topic? Where do they come from? What is something you can DO to experience this topic or learn more about it? Think about somewhere you can go something you could experience, someone you could talk to. (Not just reading about it.) Check out the Anchor podcast App if you want!
