Episode Synopsis
Rave Chant was released by Mavic Music on 27th August 2024 as part of a Various Artists EP entitled "Impressions Vol 3.'
It's a driving techno track which was first created for the Beat Collective Challenge of April 2024, in which participants are given three samples and the challenge is to create an original track in any genre using the three samples in any way you wish.
The samples for this Challenge were:-
The Gregorian Chant which I used in the Intro and the breakdowns.
The Plucked Melody which I used in the main breakdown. I separated out the voice from this sample, pitched it up and looped it through the main breakdown.
The Rave Lead which is also in the main breakdown and immediately afterwards.
