Episode Synopsis
The word "burden" in Isaiah 13:1 means "chiefly a doom." And, the destruction of this Babylon in Isaiah 13-14 is referred to in Isaiah 14:20 as a "land." This land has a "king" and is spoken about in Isaiah 14:5 as the "King of Babylon," who has the nation of Israel in captivity in the context of the return of Jesus Christ. And this land is identified as "The Glory of Kingdoms" in Isaiah 13:19. Our study on this Babylon has 12 major facts, and this introductory study deals mostly with just reading these two chapters, Isaiah 13 - 14. Of course, a person is not going to be able to see clearly apart from being knowledgable of the Word of the living God.
