He was the best drummer I ever worked with, and when we played together we could read each other's movements and know exactly what the other wanted to do next.Among the tapes I've been converting to mp3 files in the last few days are a few early examples of the two of us playing together: He on his drum set, me on my bass guitar. Not the best quality, and certainly not the best music...but it was fun, and it was ours, and we pushed each other to be better every time we played.
