This week, I was joined by my colleague and dear friend Makeda. She is from Addis Ababa and attended Addis Ababa University Law School. She then went to Boston College School of Law where she received her L.L.M in Human Rights and she is currently working within the Ethiopian judiciary.
In this episode, we had a conversation centered around representation and what it means to represent your culture as an international student 👩🏽🎓 🌍 We talked about navigating the space of being Ethiopian but also considered black in the US context and also the politics of hair.
