The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) on December 12th, 2023, released an Exposure Draft proposing a host of changes. Among various other changes suggested is the measure proposed to increase the surrender value of non-linked policies. The 28-page document also lists down various other proposals and has requested all stakeholders to forward their comments and suggestions by 3rd January 2024.
