Episode Synopsis
The Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted life as we know it on many levels. This podcast discusses the positive and negative effects of the pandemic on entrepreneurship. In an article by Salamzadeh and Dana (2020) on Iranian startups published in the Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship, it was found there are six aspects that can impact the success or failure of a startup. This study frames the discussions between SUSI scholars from the Philippines, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, and Bangladesh. Additionally, special guests from the startup industry are featured who share their perspectives about startups- both the challenges and best practices for turning the challenges into opportunities.
