Listen "Episode 51 The Alchemy of Play: Sacred Play & Finding Freedom In Becoming"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textIn this episode, inspired by my daughter, I shift gears. I share a couple of my stories and a guided visualization that will help you get into the energy of alchemical play. We often think of shadow work, personal development and growth as painful and heavy. It doesn't always have to be this way. We can choose to shift into a more lighthearted space. I'm not saying this is always possible, but even just recording this, I felt a shift in my energy. We often forget how important play is. I speak about it often, but I also forget myself as I get caught up in my own heaviness and growth and life itself. Play is often overlooked in the growth and alchemical process because we have been taught play doesn't exist past being a child and this is wrong. Its how we learn and grow and it is an extremely important part of alchemy. Play isn’t a distraction — it’s integration. It opens the body, moves stagnant energy, resets the nervous system, and makes space for creativity and freedom. Without play, transformation gets heavy. With play, we remember why we’re here in the first place. This episode is your reminder: becoming doesn’t have to be all fire and ashes. Sometimes it’s dancing in your kitchen, laughing until your belly hurts, or finding wonder in something small and silly. Play is not just fun — it’s medicine for the mind, body and soul. As always, thank you for being here with me. Keep going. Keep creating alchemy. Stand sovereign. Play.
