This is a BIG chat about my autistic journey. I really want to help break this notion that to be autistic you have to look/ act a certain way. You don't!
I used to have a lot of shame admitting I am autistic in fear of how others react, but this is a HUGE part of me. No, it doesn't define me. I am a whole person with many other characteristics. I was diagnosed at 3, therefore I have always known I was different. How I navigate the world when growing up and what really was an incredibly defining moment for me.
