Demand for and the import of our durians have been skyrocketing - China, in particular, is one of our biggest consumers, racking up an export of 3,406 million tonnes of durian worth RM65.2 million in 2021. This has led to the expansion of large-scale durian farming, and increased interest in durian investment.
