Listen "Trust: Meditation Morsels"
Episode Synopsis
Perhaps trust is a mixture of things. Maybe we see someone, hear something, and get inspired, and then we try it out for ourselves. There's maybe a conviction to do it, to see that it's possible for someone else, or we just have this feeling, just kind of an intuition, inner knowing that, you know, why not? Why not trust this? I don't see any reason not to.And I'm gonna give it a go, not blindly, but to someday verify it for ourselves. And then reviewing it in retrospect. Of course, they say trust is earned. So how do we earn our own trust? We trust in our own competence. We trust in training. We trust in wisdom and those who demonstrate trustworthy qualities, teachings that lead towards trust and that support trust. And knowing that sometimes things take time to develop, and there can't be immediate trust. There can be a willingness to develop trust and openness to how to go about it, but also an eventual verification.Want to be a guest on Inner Skilled?
