Dr Danielle speaks with Charlie Rowe, the Community Outreach Manager for Carbal Medical Services in Toowoomba, Queensland about his career path into Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and his success with the Strong Fathers Program. Strong Fathers Strong Families is a holistic, culturally strong model that promotes the important role of dads, uncles, grandfathers and carers, helping them strive to be healthy role models and engage in their children's lives. A program which is having a big impact on keeping men out of jail and reducing re-offending risk. Dr Danielle and Charlie chat about change behaviour strategies for helping domestic violence (DV) perpetrators, the importance of role modelling and cultural education in the community.
