Today’s session is all about going deeper. I love that verse in the Psalms where it says, “deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls.” I really feel that God wants to connect with the deeper parts of us.Often, we live on the surface—in our relationships, in our emotions—and we don’t always tune in to what’s going on underneath. One amazing way to connect more deeply is by singing in tongues, or singing in the language of heaven. It’s where your spirit connects with God’s Spirit.It bypasses your thoughts—it’s not about conscious thinking, but more about feeling and sensing. It’s deep calling to deep. It’s our spirit becoming entwined with God’s Spirit.I find it such a privilege that we can connect with God like that. It refreshes my spirit and my soul, and even lifts my energy and emotions. I don’t always know exactly what I’m saying, but I know in my spirit that I want to go deeper, come closer, and encounter God’s presence in a deeper way.So that’s our prayer for you today—that you’ll encounter God deeply.
