She warns against hardening our hearts, as the Israelites did, which led to their being unable to enter into God's rest.

-- Strategize: The final, and equally important, point is to strategize. Carty uses the examples of King David's counsel to Solomon and the disciples helping Paul escape to illustrate that being strong and trusting in God doesn't mean we should be passive. She encourages believers to pray for divine strategy, to put on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians, and to use the minds God has given them to navigate conflicts and challenges.
