Listen "S2. Ep.32 - Morning Commute/Commune: Dedicated to the Unsung Heroes"
Episode Synopsis
#InMyMind: “Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, which is why we call it the present.” - Bill Keane
Today was tough! There are many people that lay within the periphery of our lives. We know them, we see them, we are acquainted. We may party together, we may work together, we may see them at the gym, but they are there. Although, they may not be a key factor or a major part of our lives, they are there and need to be acknowledged and honored.
I recently lost an acquaintance and the news of his passing brought me to a stand still. I also remember losing another good friend while at work one day. Their demise is a stark reminder that life is not promised. We worked together years ago, but they left an impression on my life and their presence will be missed.
They, like many others, are in the corners of our minds and in the background of our lives, but they have just as an important part to play in our stories as the main players. They are the Unsung Heroes and deserved to be honored.
This message is dedicated to the memories of my family and friends, my Unsung Heroes, R.I.P. to Brian Flanigan, Victor Ofokansi, Derek Williams and Marc Pierre, y’all are with me. Love y'all!
