Listen "Aerosol"
Episode Synopsis
Mass Torts don’t always start with a bang. Often the road to becoming a mass tort is long and unclear, and in this week’s episode, we explore this journey by discussing two potential new mass torts that are getting started.Grace and Liel discuss how last year’s voluntary recall of some aerosol personal care products deserves the attention of law firms searching for new mass tort opportunities. A Health Hazard Evaluation report said that Johnson & Johnson’s tests detected levels of benzene 5 to 12 times above recommended limits set by two independent organizations. Consequently, the company issued a recall, and other companies then followed suit. This conversation explores how to start marketing for mass torts that have not yet shown their full potential or even got recognized as mass torts; being the first carries a lot of value, and that is an inexpensive risk worth taking.Resources mentioned in our episode:Brut and Sure voluntarily recallCDER Health Hazard Report Recommended SunscreensSend us your questions at [email protected] the show?
