Tisha is an innovative district Tech Integration Specialist, speaker, and author from Southern Oregon. She has taught Family and Consumer Science for 25 years and has served in various leadership roles in her school and district. Tisha is the author of the book Make Learning MAGICAL, which unlocks seven keys to transform teaching and create unforgettable experiences in the classroom. She speaks nationally on a variety of topics related to teaching and learning in all content and grade levels, Family and Consumer Science being her specialty.
In this episode, we learn how Tisha’s flame was reignited for teaching after she took a risk to infuse more technology into her classroom and how from there, she began to passionately influence others to reignite their own passion for creativity. Tisha also shares her experiences overcoming fears in order to be able to share her message more widely.
